The Another Path series explores landscapes and different terrains from a birds-eye-view. The textures represent shifts in rocks and soil and the land, and are juxtaposed by saturated, flat areas to play with implied depth and the path through the terrain. From above it seems flat and easy to navigate.

On a personal level, it’s an exploration of hindsight and its effect on memory. The way difficult and challenging times take on a hazy and almost positive quality in retrospect, no matter how hard they were to navigate in the moment.

If a frame is pictured, it is a part of the artwork and is included in your purchase. These wood frames are custom built by the lovely folks at Day and Night Woodworking in Toronto.

PICK UP INFO

Pick-up at my studio (near the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto) is free and can be scheduled at your earliest convenience.

Enter your name and address at check out. You will then be given the option to choose between shipping and local pick-up. Once the transaction is complete, I will email you to schedule a pick-up time that is most convenient to you.

SHIPPING INFO [CANADA]

Shipping will be calculated and billed separately from your artwork purchase. Please note that shipping large items can vary deeply in cost based on your location.

Items up to 40 inches will have a shipping cost ranging from $50 - 300 with Canada post and more with services such as UPS.

Items 40 inches and above will be subject to additional charges from the post office and beyond a certain size require the use of a service like UPS that may charge $500+

The most cost effective method of shipping XL artwork is to ship it rolled in a tube and have it stretched and framed locally. If this is the chosen method, the cost of the frame that is pictured with the artwork will be deducted from your cost.
